I have many great interests and passions in life: travel, history, music, philosophy, hiking, kayaking, culinary exploration, fine wines and spirits…and most importantly: spending time with my family. But one passion has also become my occupation: my love of hifi audio. Yes, I am an audiophile. To me, this term indicates not an esoteric pursuit for absolute perfection in sound quality or an obsession with endless tweaking of audio systems. Instead, it means that I love music so much that I want to enjoy it at its fullest possible potential even when I can’t enjoy it live. And from classical to country (and everything in between), I enjoy listening to music day and night; it’s the soundtrack to my life.
